01. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of parodyplanet.tv (the "Site"), operated by Parody Planet, Inc. under the Parody Planet name ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms govern the prelaunch website only; any future streaming, creator, distribution, payment, or collaboration services will have separate or updated terms.
02. Product in development; no launch commitment
Parody Planet is a product in development. Music is our planned first area of focus; Film & TV, Gaming, Sports, and Live Events describe a longer-term vision rather than committed features. All descriptions, mockups, concepts, and proposed functionality are illustrative and subject to change. We do not promise that the platform, any feature, beta invitation, availability date, price, geographic coverage, or business model will be offered. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell a streaming subscription, distribute music, license intellectual property, or enter a creator agreement.
03. Waitlist and email signups
You may voluntarily join the prelaunch waitlist by providing an email address, selecting Creator or Audience, and affirmatively consenting to the described email updates. The signup form is processed by Brevo and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. If double opt-in is enabled, you must also follow the email confirmation instructions to complete your subscription. You must not submit another person's email address without permission.
Joining the waitlist only indicates interest. It does not create a Parody Planet account, purchase, subscription, reservation, equity interest, priority entitlement, guaranteed beta invitation, or contractual right to access any future service. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how signup information is handled.
04. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with Site operations or security; probe vulnerabilities without permission; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest personal information unlawfully; impersonate another person; submit misleading or unauthorized information; use the Site for fraud, spam, or unlawful purposes; or infringe the rights of others. We may restrict access or remove submissions when reasonably necessary to protect the Site and comply with law.
05. Intellectual property
The Parody Planet name, logos, branding, original copy, design, and other Site materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and view the Site for lawful personal or business informational purposes. No other license is granted. Third-party names, marks, or sample artwork remain the property of their respective owners. Do not assume that illustrative product imagery represents licensed music or launched features.
06. Feedback and inquiries
If you voluntarily send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us permission to review and use that feedback to improve our products and business without compensation, to the extent permitted by law. Do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share. This clause does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing copyrighted works or grant us rights to commercially distribute your music; future creator-upload and licensing rights would require separate terms.
07. Third-party links and services
The Site uses third-party services, including Brevo for waitlist forms and email communications and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, and may link to other third-party websites. These providers have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control third-party websites or guarantee their availability. The Site's use of these services does not mean Parody Planet's streaming, music creation, distribution, or collaboration products are available.
08. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF PRELAUNCH PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS. NOTHING HERE EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
09. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE PRELAUNCH SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR USE OF THE SITE DURING THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
10. Governing law and disputes
Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute-resolution forum or venue should be determined by legal counsel based on the actual operating entity and applicable law. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights.
11. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the Site or revise these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes will receive any notice required by applicable law. Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where legally permitted. We may suspend access to protect the Site, users, or our legal rights.
12. General provisions
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later. These Terms and the linked Privacy Policy describe the current prelaunch Site relationship; they do not replace future creator, licensing, subscription, or distribution agreements.
